Life Teachers

Living Word Bilingual School’s dormitories are the primary place that students hang out outside of class hours. Boys and girls dormitories are staffed by life teachers that help students with aspects of boarding that they may find difficult, such as cleaning, hygiene, laundry, or interpersonal problems with other students.

Responsibilities and duties carried out by life teachers include but are not limited to caring for students outside of class hours, and ensuring that their physical and mental health is accounted for. At night time, life teachers ensure that students go to sleep at a reasonable hour and also ensure that students are able to care for themselves without the support of their parents or other adults.
